Home of "The Fattie" and "The Same"

Helen's Casa Alde is Buda's first Mexican restaurant and has been proudly serving delicious, homemade Mexican food for over 30 years. 

Helen first started out making tacos for employees of a local business. As her tacos gained popularity, Helen eventually found a spot to serve her food to the entire community in a hundred year old building that used to house Buda's General Store. Today, Helen's Casa Alde is still in its original location on historic Main Street.
